About PVC and styrene signs
Materials
Two plastic boards. PVC (Sintra) 3mm is rigid and solid through, and stays flat on a door, a wall or a desk. Styrene 20pt is a thin, light sheet, about half a millimetre thick, for a notice taped or pinned up or slid into a frame. Both are printed in full colour on one side or both, and cut square, with no grommets or holes.
Sizes
Seventeen sizes on either board, from a 12-inch square to 36 x 48 inches. The 6-inch strips (6 x 24, 6 x 32 and 6 x 36) take one line, such as a name on a door or a direction. 12 x 16 and 12 x 18 suit a door or a desk; 18 x 24 and 24 x 36 a wall or a window. The squares are 12, 24 and 36 inches, and the largest board is 36 x 48. Each size opens in the editor on ten templates drawn for it.
Your file
Design it in the editor and the print file is made for you, at the sign's full size with the extra edge the cut needs: a sixteenth of an inch. Keep words a quarter of an inch inside the edge. To use your own artwork, upload an image (PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF or SVG, up to 12 MB) and place it; a PDF is not taken. Before you pay, the print check tells you if a picture is too small to print sharply at that size, or if any words are too small to read from a distance.
How long it takes
Printing takes 2 to 4 business days on either board. Delivery comes after that; the Shipping page has the times.

Questions
- Which board should I choose?
- PVC (Sintra) 3mm for a sign that has to stand stiff and flat on its own, on a door or a wall; Styrene 20pt for a lighter notice that is taped, pinned or framed.
- Can it be printed on both sides?
- Yes. Both boards are made printed on one side or on both, and the page shows what the second side adds before you choose it.
- Do the signs have holes or grommets?
- No. They are cut square, with no holes or grommets.
- Can I order just one?
- Yes. Both are sold from one sign. Styrene also comes in runs of 5, 10, 50 and 100, and PVC (Sintra) in runs of 5 and 10.
- What can I upload?
- An image file from your phone or computer (PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF or SVG, up to 12 MB): a logo, a photo or a finished design. You place it in the editor and can add words and shapes around it.
- How long do they take?
