About pull-up banners

Materials

Two kinds of banner. The inch sizes are 13 oz matte vinyl, printed in full colour, and matte keeps the glare of hall lights off your words, on six stands: the silver base and the black base each twist out two feet to stand firm; the premium stand has a wide flat base that levels itself on an uneven floor, in silver aluminium with chrome end caps, and the premium wide is the same stand at 48 inches; the double-sided stand holds two banners back to back; the table-top stand is a small aluminium stand for an 11 x 18 inch banner. Each of these but the table top comes with a carrying case. The metric banners are polyester fabric, 195gsm, or recycled polyester, 260gsm, printed in full colour on one side and rolled into an aluminium stand in silver or in black.

Sizes

33 x 81 inches is the standard pull-up, on the silver base, black base, premium and double-sided stands: tall enough to read over a crowd and narrow enough for a 10 foot booth. The premium wide is 48 x 80.5 inches, for a message that needs room at the sides. The table-top banner is 11 x 18 inches and stands on the table itself. The fabric banners are 2 metres tall and 600, 800, 850 or 1000 mm wide, or 1000 x 2150 mm, and a 2000 x 3000 mm banner fills the back of a stand at a hall. Each size opens in the editor on templates drawn for it.

Your file

Design it in the editor and the print file is made for you, at the banner's full size with the extra edge the cut needs: an eighth of an inch, 10 mm on the metric banners. The foot of the banner rolls down into the stand: the bottom 3 inches (1 inch on the table-top banner, 250 mm on the metric banners). The editor shades that band, and the print check tells you if any words sit in it. Keep words a quarter of an inch inside the other edges. The double-sided stand holds two banners back to back, so design the back as well as the front. To use your own artwork, upload an image (PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF or SVG, up to 12 MB) and place it; a PDF is not taken. Before you pay, the print check tells you if a picture is too small to print sharply at that size, or if any words are too small to read.

How long it takes

Printing takes 4 to 5 business days on the vinyl banners and 3 to 5 on the fabric ones. Delivery comes after that; the Shipping page has the times.

Questions

Does the stand come with it?
Yes. Every banner comes rolled into its own stand. The vinyl banners' stands, all but the table top, come with a carrying case.
How do I set it up?
Stand the base on the floor, pull the banner up out of it and hook the top onto the pole behind it. The vinyl banners' stands need no tools.
Which part rolls into the stand?
The bottom 3 inches on the vinyl banners, 1 inch on the table-top banner and 250 mm on the fabric banners. The editor shades that band so your words stay above it.
Which stand should I choose?
The silver or the black base for most shows, the premium for a wide steady base on an uneven floor, the premium wide for more room at the sides, the double-sided where people pass on both sides, and the table top for the table itself. For a fabric banner, a metric size in a silver or a black stand.
Vinyl or fabric?
Matte vinyl keeps the glare of hall lights off your words. Polyester fabric is a fabric banner at 195gsm, and recycled polyester the heavier of the two, at 260gsm.
Can I order just one?
Yes. Pull-up banners are sold from one, and in runs of 2, 3, 5 and 10; the 850 x 2000 mm banner in ones and twos.
How long does printing take?
4 to 5 business days for a vinyl banner, 3 to 5 for a fabric one. Delivery comes after that; the Shipping page has the times.
