About wall calendars
Materials
Every calendar is gloss text paper, a coated paper with a shine that keeps pictures bright, printed in full colour on both sides of every page, then folded, stapled at the fold and drilled with one hole to hang it by. Gloss text 80lb is the lighter; Gloss text 100lb is thicker and turns more firmly on the wall. The cover is either the same paper as the pages (a self cover) or 14pt card, which holds the calendar flat; it has 28 pages either way.
Sizes
Each page is 11 x 8.5 in, landscape. Hung open, the calendar is 11 x 17 in: the month's picture above, its dates below. It has 28 pages: the front cover, the inside front cover and the page below it, a picture and a page of dates for each of the twelve months, and the back cover. It starts in the month you choose, January or any other, and runs for twelve months from it.
Your file
Design it in the editor and the print file is made for you: one PDF of the 28 pages in the order the printer asks for, each page with the extra edge the trim needs, a sixteenth of an inch. The dates are drawn for you on each month's dates page, the week starting on Sunday, for the twelve months from the month you choose; you cannot change them, and you can add your own words on any day. Public holidays are not marked: add the ones you keep. The editor shows every page in order, marks where each is stapled and where the hole is drilled, and keeps your words clear of both. To use your own pictures, upload an image (PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF or SVG, up to 12 MB) and place it; a PDF is not taken. Before you pay, the print check tells you if a picture is too small to print sharply, or if any words are smaller than the press can hold.
How long it takes
Every calendar takes 4 to 6 business days to print: its paper's chip says so, and before it goes in your cart you agree to that time. Delivery comes after that; the Shipping page has the times.
